Founded by Allen Lim, we are a privately held company and was conceived in late 2009 with one simple passion of bringing collaborative conversation back to the workplace and communities at large. We are working towards partnering wide range of expertise that share the same passion in area of conversation as intervention technique that will allow us to respond to many opportunities in the region.

The name, ConversationCircles, derived from a group facilitation process that is the underlying principle of our work. Conversational circle is an old technology. For us, we think that it is still a relevant technology; a way of leading us to see and listen clearly thus an opportunity to act differently. Joel Barker, a futurist and scholar who was the first person to popularize the term Paradigm Shifts in the corporate world and I’ve learned from him that “problems that are not possible to solve with one’s view may be possible and easier with a different one”.

ConversationCircles, selectively work with passionate colleagues that are masters at facilitating significant conversations among people in business, communities and non-profit organizations.

I started Being Consultancy in 2004 and work with clients across industries and the Asia region but soon realized something deeper need to be addressed to help my client. I have diversed background in the area of Consulting, Facilitation and Instructional Design. I have been and am a keen student of coaching methodology using Inner Games technique, group facilitation methods using Adventure and Experiential Learning Methodology and Technology of Participation (ToP) and various conversation methods. I am effectively bilingual in English and Chinese, both spoken and written.
